Can you deliver balloons today in Los Angeles?

Often, yes — when the day's route and design schedule allow it. Simple bouquets and number balloons are the easiest same-day requests. Call (310) 855-9500 as early as you can with the full delivery address for a same-day answer.

How much is balloon delivery to Los Angeles?

It depends on the delivery address and the size of the order. Call with the destination and the design you want, and we will confirm the delivery details and order total before the order is finalized.

How far in advance should I order balloons?

Same-day works for many bouquets when routes allow, and a day or more of notice widens the design choices. Custom builds and deliveries tied to a fixed event time are best placed as pre-orders.

How long do helium balloons float?

An untreated 11-inch latex balloon floats roughly 12 to 24 hours; treated latex kept indoors can float for days, and foil balloons generally last longer than latex. Air-filled decor lasts longest since it does not rely on helium. Keeping balloons indoors and away from heat and direct sun preserves float time.

Can you deliver to an office, hotel, school, or hospital in Los Angeles?

We regularly deliver to homes, offices, hotels, and restaurants. Schools and hospitals sometimes set their own rules about balloons, so check with the venue first — then call us with the delivery details.

Same-day vs. pre-orders

Same-day service is ideal when the moment is urgent and the route still allows it. Pre-orders are the better fit when you want more control over colors, numbers, themes, venue notes, or timing. Balloon Lagoon supports both equally, depending on what the order needs.

Frequently Asked Questions

How late can I place a same-day order?

Can I still ask for something custom?

Do you also take pre-orders?

What decides whether a same-day order can go out

Same-day availability comes down to three things: the delivery address and how it fits the day's route, the complexity of the design, and the orders already on the schedule. Simpler bouquets and number balloons are easier to add to a route than fully custom builds. Because no single cutoff applies to every design, calling earlier in the day gives the clearest picture of what is still possible.

How much does balloon delivery to Los Angeles cost?

Delivery cost depends on where the order is headed and what it includes — distance across Los Angeles and the size of the arrangement both play a role. When you call with the complete delivery address and the design you have in mind, we confirm the delivery details and the order total before anything is finalized, so you know what to expect before the balloons leave the studio.

Homes, offices, hotels, and other venues we deliver to

Same-day deliveries most often go to homes, offices, hotels, and restaurants across Los Angeles. Hotel and concierge deliveries are a frequent request, and office deliveries can be coordinated for meetings, milestones, and client surprises. For deliveries to schools or hospitals, check with the venue first — some schools and hospitals set their own rules about balloons — then call us with the delivery details.

Same-day vs. pre-order: how to choose

Choose same-day when the occasion is today and you have some flexibility on design. Choose a pre-order when you want specific colors, themes, names or numbers, venue notes, or a locked-in delivery window — advance notice gives the studio more room to customize. Even a day of lead time widens the options considerably, and for custom builds or time-sensitive event deliveries, planning ahead through our pre-order page is the safer route.

How long do helium balloons last after delivery?

Float time depends on the balloon type and conditions. A standard untreated 11-inch latex balloon typically floats about 12 to 24 hours, treated latex kept indoors can float for days, and foil balloons generally outlast latex. Air-filled decor pieces such as garlands do not depend on helium and hold up far longer indoors. Heat, direct sun, and outdoor placement shorten float time, so scheduling delivery close to the event keeps everything looking its best.

The same-day occasions we handle most

Birthday surprises with milestone number balloons, new-baby deliveries, graduation gifts, and last-minute celebration bouquets are the rush requests we see most often. If you are not sure which design fits your timeline, call and describe the occasion — we can point you toward bouquets that work on a rush schedule.
